CB Certification:

CQC is the only national certification body formally joints the CB Scheme of IEC System for Conformity Testing and Certification of Electrical Equipment and components (IECEE) in China and can issue the CB Test Certifications for over 300 standards within 14 categories, which can be recognized by 53 countries and regions within the CB Scheme. Utilizing also the Product Certificate issued by CQC, enterprises can directly transformed it to the CB Test Certificate, CB Certificates issued by other NCB in the CB Scheme are also recognized when applying for the Product Certificate of CQC. If the enterprise makes application for 3C or the CQC Make Certification and the CB Test Certificate at the same time, CQC can provide integrated value-added service of CCC+CB or CQC+CB, greatly reducing the cost and speed up the certification.

China Low Carbon Product Certification:

In order to promote the implementation of China’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emission control target in 2020, to regulate Chinese low-carbon products certification, to prompt international trade, and to sustain and guarantee the profits of Chinese industries, National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and National Certification and Accreditation Administration (NCAA) co-published “tentative regulations for low-carbon products certification” (NDRC Climate Division【2013】No. 279). After that, aiming on the promotion of low-carbon technologies, and reduce greenhouse gas emission of the state, on September 17th, 2015, the NDRC and the state General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (GAQSIQ) co-published “Regulation for energy-saving and low-carbon products certification” (GAQSIQ Decree No. 168), which was officially implemented on November 1st, 2015.

The products listed into the 1st batch of China Low-Carbon products certification are: common portland cement, flat glass, wrought aluminium alloy extruded profiles for architecture, and small and medium-sized three-phase asynchronous motor. The products listed into the 2nd batch are architectural ceramic tiles( plates), tyres, textile fabric. More products will be added into China low-carbon product certification range in the future.
